Share 'The Maine Man- Sign Him Long Term'

John Maine looked great today going six strong innings. I'd love to see the Mets offer him a long term deal to buy out his arbitration years and a year or two of free agency. He's so consistent for a guy his age. And he's never hurt. It's definitely the trend in baseball now to buy some free agent years for young players that have success. Maine deserves a long term deal as much as anyone.
